Linda communicates effectively with students and parents with regard to the students' academic, personal and college planning. She serves as a liaison between college admissions and students.
Linda specializes in student-athletes and the NCAA Clearinghouse as well as students with special education needs. She is familiar with the documentation requirements necessary to access accommodations on standardized testing (SAT and ACT) and can help students with disabilities reach their full potential. Linda has worked with student-athletes who have gone on to play their sport in Divisions I, II and III. She can serve as the liaison between families and college coaches.
She is a member of the New England Association of College Admission Counseling (NEACAC) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Linda continues to build her skills by attending professional conferences and visiting colleges to gain first-hand knowledge of the campuses. She has visited over 100 colleges (see list below). Her interest in the field of college consulting developed while working with the young adults in high schools, but her most rewarding experience was supporting her own three children as they navigated their paths beyond high school.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Saint Joseph's College of Maine and a Certificate in Athletic Administration and Assistant Principal Administration from the University of Southern Maine. She is a member of the St Joseph's College Hall of Fame and the New England Basketball Hall of Fame.
